Alhamdulillah..finally i could make my one siomay hand-made ;)
i was so glad to buy all the ingredients, one kembung fish, salt, brown sugar, garlic, onions, chilli, pepper, leek, flour, vinegar/tamarind, and peanuts. no to mention that i was so pleased to cook it, first i prepared all the ingredients to make a batter then blend garlic, onions, pepper, salt. blend the flesh of kembung fish separately. next, place desired flour into a bowl, add the seasonings along with the blended fish. mix them thoroughly while poring some water until it can be shaped. then shape them into small ones and steam them for around 40 minutes.
for the peanut sauce, fry garlic, onions, and chilli. blend them and put them in a bowl by adding a bit of vinegar or tamarind. fry peanuts and blend them. mix the blended peanuts with the seasoning. stir it thoroughly by adding some hot water. last, fry it with a low fire until the oil created from the peanut sauce.
when the steamed siomay is ready, place them on a plate and apply some peanut sauce on them. finally, the yummy and sexy siomay or baso tahu is ready to be served and eaten! hmmm it's scrumptious...even Keket lovessss it ;p it looked by the way she licked all over the surface of plate that i used it to eat my hand-made siomay..
actually, this special siomay is dedicated wholeheartedly to special someone, whom insyaalloh i will share my life with.. and i have to tell the truth that all the stages and ingredients are from him. so i can't thank you enough to have someone like him. he's definitely something else. the siomay, that is made by lobe, is for him...
